SurveyMonkey Anywhere, Qualtrics, and Zonka each have native kiosk mode: locks to the survey app, hides the exit button, activates auto-restart timer. After each completed response, the survey resets automatically to the start screen — 30 to 120 seconds of inactivity, configurable to your preference.
Apple Guided Access (iOS layer)
Hardware-level backup lock built into every iPad. Even if the survey app crashes or exits unexpectedly, Guided Access prevents the device from returning to the home screen or opening another app. Requires a passcode known only to your survey operator to exit. Zero cost — built into iOS.
