Salt Lake City Projector Rentals — Salt Lake City Trade Show & Corporate Inventory

Salt Lake City is Utah's capital and the commercial hub of the Intermountain West — a fast-growing technology, healthcare, and outdoor industry corridor anchored by a strong convention market at the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center (100 S West Temple). The Salt Palace spans 515,000 square feet and hosts some of the United States' largest trade shows and conferences, including RootsTech (world's largest genealogy conference, 500K+ online participants), FanX (Utah's largest pop culture convention), and major healthcare and technology events. Key Salt Lake City corporate anchors include Intermountain Health (HQ), SelectHealth, Ancestry.com (HQ), Adobe Utah campus, Qualtrics (HQ), eBay Utah, Overstock.com/Medovie, and a rapidly expanding Silicon Slopes technology corridor stretching from Salt Lake City through Lehi, Orem, and Provo. The Wasatch Mountains backdrop and outdoor industry ties give Salt Lake City a distinctive dual identity as a corporate conference destination and outdoor recreation hub. Note: the Salt Palace is expected to close in 2027 for a complete demolition and replacement; events during the transition period will migrate to the Mountain America Exposition Center in Sandy (9575 S State Street) and other venues.

Short throw projection

Short Throw Projector Rentals — Salt Lake City

Short throw and ultra-short throw projectors solve the most common Salt Lake City event projection challenges — limited floor space at Salt Palace exhibitor booths, low ceilings in Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City breakout rooms, and confined Utah state government and Silicon Slopes training rooms where a standard throw projector would require positioning in the audience area.

Ultra-Short Throw (UST)

0.25:1 Throw Ratio

Floor or wall mount · projects from inches away

Ultra-short throw at 0.25:1 ratio projects a large image from a unit placed directly at the base of the screen — within 6 to 12 inches. Ideal for Salt Palace exhibitor booth interactive walls where a floor-standing unit eliminates all aisle-obstruction concerns. Particularly effective for RootsTech genealogy technology and AI platform interactive demonstrations where visitors touch and interact with the projected surface. Available in 4,000 to 6,000 lumen versions.

Best forSalt Palace RootsTech interactive booth walls · Hyatt Regency SLC training rooms · Utah state agency low-ceiling rooms · Silicon Slopes tech demo rooms

Short Throw (ST)

0.6:1 to 1.0:1 Throw Ratio

Flexible placement · 8–12 ft image from 6–8 ft

Standard short throw at 0.6:1 to 1.0:1 ratio projects a full-width image from just a few feet from the screen — suitable for Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City meeting rooms with limited rear throw space, Utah state government training rooms, and Salt Palace breakout rooms where central projector placement would interrupt attendee flow. 3,000 to 5,000 lumen versions available.

Best forHyatt Regency SLC meeting rooms · Utah state government training rooms · Salt Palace breakout rooms · Grand America Hotel executive rooms

Interactive Short Throw

Whiteboard · digital annotation · multi-touch
